Mr. I. C. Agarwal is a successful industrialist, a distinguished educationalist, a social philanthropist and above all, a thorough professional plus a kind human being.
Mr. Agarwal completed his B.Tech. (Hons) Engineering Degree from IIT Kharagpur in 1961 and since then, has been tirelessly working for the Industry and Society. He started his career with one of India's leading organization - Shriram Group, and after reaching the position of Senior Executive Director, started his own venture in Ghaziabad in 1988 by the name Ghaziabad Precision Products Pvt. Ltd. (commonly known as GPP).
GPP is manufacturing and supplying Valve Train Engine Components and Assemblies to OEM customers only, in national & international markets, including Fortune 500 Companies. Presently, GPP has 2 world class manufacturing units in Ghaziabad and another 2 ancillary unit in Sitarganj (Uttarakhand), to meet the total requirements of Ashok Leyland, Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors.
Under dynamic leadership of Mr. I C. Agarwal, GPP Group has set up a modern well equipped Foundry in Sitarganj and in the same Complex, a latest technology Forging unit has also been for commissioned in February, 2019. A plant for manufacture of e-Powertrain components for Electric Vehicles is being set up in Ananthapuram, Andhra Pradesh which is expected to be commissioned by 2021.
In early Nineties, Mr. Agarwal also floated Spectra Products Pvt. Ltd. in Ghaziabad, which are manufacturing and exporting precision Springs to only OEMs in Japan, Germany, U.S.A. and many other countries.
Being associated with many educational institutions in and outside Ghaziabad, Mr. Agarwal is one of the founder members of the IMT, Ghaziabad and since then he is regularly contributing to the institution's growth as a member of its Management Committee. Additionally, Mr. Agarwal is also professionally enhancing image of many other schools and colleges such as Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ch. Chabbildas Senior Secondary School, Lajpat Rai Degree College, to name a few.
Being one of the founder presidents of Ghaziabad Management Association and Mr. Agarwal is actively working for its progress as an Advisor. He is also associated with NGOs like Rotary Club, Ghaziabad and CARTE (Centre for Agrarian Research Training and Education), helping the Social Sector in a modest and most humble way.
Mr. Amit Agarwal is presently working as Managing Director at M/s Ghaziabad Precision Products Pvt. Ltd., Ghaziabad. The company is manufacturing Valve Train Components for OEMs, globally, supplying to few “Fortune 500” companies. GPP has 3 Plants with Japanese Joint Venture and is further expanding by setting up Forging unit with Chinese collaboration. The company operates on the principal of Quality, Safety, cost, delivery, services and Social Responsibility and follows the same in this sequence. The company has achieved the 10 PPM Award for two consecutive years from World renowned Commercial Vehicle Company – PACCAR from Netherland. GPP has also been awarded with prestigious awards like Best Performance Award from Volvo in Year 2017 – 18 and Best in Class Performance for Delivery from Ashok Leyland. The company has also got a Gold Certification from M/s Caterpillar.
Mr. Agarwal is a Mechanical Engineer with Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) in Marketing from IMT, Ghaziabad. He has worked in various profiles at M/s GKN Transmission Ltd., Faridabad and M/s New Holland India before joining the M/s Ghaziabad Precision Products Pvt. Ltd.
